Hello and welcome to Carol's Creature Care of Michigan! We provide home and pet sitter care for the south east Michigan area. I'm Carol and those furry fellows above me are just some of the animals my staff and I care for. A pet to us is a member of the family, and we understand how important it is to give support to that member even when you're away at work or on vacation. It's a busy world we live in. We're here to give you the peace of mind that your little loved ones are being watched over carefully.
Why a pet sitter?
The average work day for most Americans is 8 hours. Add travel time to that to and from work and you could be looking at 9 plus hours away from your home. Away from your furry companion who's doing their best not to have an accident. Have you ever tried to hold it for 9 hours? It's no fun for anyone.
Your pet wants to be good, they love you and know that they're not supposed to go potty in the house. They love you so much that they'll even hold it when it could be doing physical harm to their body. Not being able to go to the bathroom can lead to urinary tract infections, bladder and kidney problems, fecal impaction, even diverticulitis. Some of these will lead to a trip to the vet for medicine, while others can lead to permanent damage and even death. No pet owner wants their companion to suffer, but bills have to be paid and to do that people have to work.
